According to Espreso.tv: Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Madjar is demanding that Ukraine provide guarantees for the fulfillment of 11 conditions concerning the Hungarian national minority residing in Transcarpathia. This minority in Ukraine numbers approximately one hundred thousand people. These demands were originally put forward during Viktor Orbán's tenure as prime minister.

On May 27, Péter Madjar announced that he would only be willing to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy if these conditions are met. He stressed that the most critical issue for Hungarians living in Ukraine is securing guarantees for the use of their native language in schools, cultural institutions, and administration.

Additionally, the Hungarian prime minister stated, 'We are in technical contact with the Ukrainian side. And I truly hope that we can soon close this 11-point proposal.'
