Ukraine Without NATO: Trump Laid a 'Bomb' for Future US Presidents.
American officials confirmed Donald Trump's position regarding the lack of support for Ukraine in NATO during negotiations in London. However, they noted that this decision would not bind future US presidents. Representatives of the United States also expressed the possibility that the next administration might allow Ukraine to join NATO. They also understood that Ukraine would not accept limitations that exclude its membership in the Alliance.
According to The New York Times, the American side also supported Ukraine regarding its army, disagreeing with Russian demands for limitations. Meanwhile, despite Trump's and JD Vance's statements about the readiness to recognize the occupation of Crimea, American officials would not require Ukraine to do the same.
