Ukraine prepares to strike Moscow with domestic missiles – The Telegraph.
Ukraine intends to attack Moscow using its own 'Trembita' missiles. This is reported by The Telegraph.
The USA provides support to Ukraine during Donald Trump's inauguration, and Ukraine is also working on developing its own weapons, including 'Trembita' missiles, to ensure military independence.
According to the publication, the base version of the missile, which has been under development since 2023, costs about 10 thousand dollars each. The missile is about 2 meters long and weighs around 90 kilograms. It is launched from a ramp and can carry up to 18 kilograms of explosive over a distance of up to 144 kilometers.
At the moment, the manufacturer plans to create an enhanced version that can fly up to 650 kilometers.
The article states that in this case, the cost of the missile, while exceeding 10 thousand dollars, could still become the most affordable among long-range strike missiles. It is known that the Atacms missile costs over 1 million dollars.
Let us remind you that Ukraine has started developing a new missile called 'Trembita', which can reach Moscow. Serial production is planned to be launched after final field tests. The missile was developed in just a year and a half, although this process usually takes many years.
