The goal of the roadmap is to enhance Ukraine's capabilities. In particular:

  • to utilize air power during joint operations and NATO activities;
  • to inflict effective defeats on the opponent during ongoing aggression;
  • to prevent the opponent's advance and deter them in the future.
'Thanks to this document, the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to deter the opponent's aggression by having the capability to employ air power according to NATO standards,' the statement reads.

The Ministry of Defense, together with the Command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, today presented this roadmap to the President of Ukraine, Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky.
