Cooperation between Ukraine and Korea in training construction machinery operators
According to inkorr.com: Ukraine and the Republic of Korea have signed an agreement on cooperation in training construction machinery operators. The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Association of Manufacturers of Construction Machinery of the Republic of Korea (KOCEMA) have agreed to establish a specialized training center in Ukraine. This center will focus on training operators of excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery, as reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
The training center will be equipped with modern simulators and equipment from Korea, allowing Ukrainian specialists to receive quality education according to international standards. The Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and the Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kubela noted:
'This will enable training people on modern equipment and simulators, providing jobs for veterans, women, and youth and contributing to the restoration of infrastructure in communities.'
Training programs will include practical training for operators and technical personnel with adherence to international safety and operation standards. The center will prepare personnel for work on residential, road, and engineering projects.
The memorandum also provides for the participation of Korean manufacturers in restoration projects in Ukraine, including the supply of equipment, conducting demonstration events, and providing consulting support. Ukrainian and Korean specialists will cooperate in harmonizing technical standards, as well as conducting professional courses and internships.
The signed memorandum on cooperation in training construction machinery operators opens up new opportunities for training personnel according to international standards. This will not only contribute to the development of infrastructure in Ukraine but also strengthen the ties between Ukrainian and Korean specialists in the construction field, which is an important step towards the faster recovery of the country.
