Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Offered Grants Up to 15,000 Hryvnias for Energy Needs.
Grant Program Launched for Ukrainian Small Business Owners
According to Novyny.live: A new support program for small businesses in Odesa, Ukraine, is now accepting applications until March 31. This initiative offers a one-time grant to individual entrepreneurs (FOPs) registered under the simplified tax system (Groups 2 and 3) who employ staff. This support is part of broader government efforts to stabilize the economy during a period of significant energy challenges.
Eligibility and Payment Details
To qualify, entrepreneurs must operate in socially vital sectors, such as cafes, bakeries, or pharmacies, and have no outstanding debt on their Unified Social Contribution (USC) payments. The grant amount is determined by the number of employees and can reach up to 15,000 hryvnias.
- 1 employee - 7,500 hryvnias
- 2 employees - 9,000 hryvnias
- 3 employees - 10,500 hryvnias
- 4 employees - 12,000 hryvnias
- 5 employees - 13,500 hryvnias
- 6 or more employees - 15,000 hryvnias
Funds are intended for purchasing energy equipment and fuel, helping businesses maintain operations during power outages.
The program was announced by Ukraine's Prime Minister, Yuliia Svyrydenko.
This grant aims to provide crucial financial assistance to entrepreneurs facing hardship due to the energy crisis. Eligible business owners can use this opportunity to improve their operational resilience and ensure stability. By supporting entrepreneurs in key community sectors, the program seeks to preserve jobs and enhance business sustainability during instability.
