Support Program for Ukrainians with Disabilities

According to Novyny.live: The civil society organization 'Fight For Right' has opened registration for a support program aimed at Ukrainians with disabilities and limited mobility, which launched in March 2026. This initiative is specifically designed to assist individuals who hold the official status of being internally displaced persons (IDPs). The ongoing conflict has placed immense strain on vulnerable populations, making such targeted aid crucial.

Assistance under this program is available for Ukrainians facing physical limitations. Participants can receive compensation for housing rentals and utility bills, a vital form of support given the current socio-economic climate. This financial aid will be provided for a duration of six months, helping to cover the basic needs of persons with disabilities and their families.

Additional Financial Assistance Programs

In addition to the 'Fight For Right' program, a separate financial aid initiative from the NGO 'Acted' is being implemented for households that include persons with disabilities of groups I-II. This program operates in the Sosnytska community of the Sumy region, where each family member receives assistance amounting to 3,600 hryvnias per month.

Consequently, Ukrainians with disabilities now have access to multiple support options, creating opportunities to improve their standard of living and secure necessary living conditions. These support programs provide essential financial aid, which is particularly critical in the context of ongoing crisis situations.

These initiatives reflect a growing focus on the needs of people with disabilities in Ukraine, especially amid war and socio-economic instability. It is significant that organizations working in this field are striving to provide the resources needed to cover basic necessities, which can substantially enhance the quality of life for this vulnerable segment of the population.
