Digital Military Records Go Live in Ukraine

According to Novyny.live: Starting December 2025, the electronic military registration document (e-VOD) became the primary identification tool for all individuals required to serve in Ukraine’s armed forces. This shift is part of a broader digital transformation effort launched under martial law and general mobilization. Citizens subject to military service can now access their records through the 'Diia' online portal or the 'Reserve+' mobile app, eliminating the need to visit physical enlistment offices.

According to Yuriy Aivazyan, checking your status via 'Reserve+' or 'Diia' will not automatically generate a new profile or flag any pre-existing registration violations. This highlights the role of digital systems in streamlining military records management and delivering real-time updates to the public.

Key Benefits of Going Digital

E-military documents greatly simplify how citizens interact with military registration authorities, offering convenient, digital access to essential records and information. In a time of war, this innovation is a critical step toward more efficient mobilization and conscription management. The rollout also signals Ukraine’s broader move toward e-governance, which is especially vital amid ongoing conflict. By reducing physical queues and limiting direct contact at enlistment offices, the system helps address both pandemic-related concerns and the demands of martial law.
