The GUR destroyed the advanced Russian radar system 'Valdai' in Crimea: operation details.
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian intelligence forces have destroyed the modern Russian radar system 'Valdai' in temporarily occupied Crimea. This information appeared on the 'Glavkom' website with reference to the GUR.
The 'Valdai' radar is a state-of-the-art Russian complex designed to detect and counter small UAVs.
Earlier, on the night of August 28, the fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck the Russian radar complex 91N6E, equipped with the S-400 'Triumph' surface-to-air missile system. The complex was destroyed using a drone.
The special unit of the GUR 'Phantoms' has also destroyed two Russian Mi-8 helicopters and a tugboat in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Moreover, on the night of October 12-13, drones from the SBU's CSO 'A' and the Armed Forces' SSU struck a number of targets supporting the war against Ukraine, including the Feodosia maritime oil terminal.
The destruction of the radar system 'Valdai' by Ukrainian intelligence indicates the success of operations by Ukrainian special units in occupied territories. This underscores the readiness and effectiveness of the Ukrainian military in protecting the country's territorial integrity.
