The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitalii Koval announced that over 27.6 thousand Ukrainian farmers received assistance totaling 1.98 billion hryvnias from the World Bank.
'1.98 billion UAH have been received by farmers in Ukraine since the beginning of the year. This assistance has been provided to 27,614 farming households and other agricultural producers with the support of the World Bank,' Koval reported.
According to Koval, 10,447 farmers received a budget subsidy of over 1.15 billion UAH per hectare of agricultural activity.
In addition, 15,252 farming households received a subsidy for maintaining cattle amounting to over 620 million UAH, and another 1,915 households received a special budget subsidy for maintaining breeding goats and/or sheep totaling over 207 million UAH.
Koval emphasized that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy plans to continue implementing this program in 2025.
