Ukrainian Military Strikes on Russian Targets

According to TSN.ua: In a series of operations on February 17 and 18, Ukrainian forces targeted and destroyed critical Russian military assets, aiming to degrade the enemy's operational capacity across multiple regions. These strikes highlight Ukraine's growing capability to conduct deep-strike operations against high-value targets.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian attacks hit concentrations of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) units and a workshop for their production, significantly reducing the enemy's potential in this crucial warfare domain. In the Donetsk region, a communications node in Staromlynivka was struck, along with equipment concentrations in Donetsk city and a drone command post in Rodynske.

Strikes on Strategic Objectives

Further strikes hit a UAV command post near the settlement of Salne in Russia's Kursk region. In a separate long-range operation, drones from Ukraine's Security Service targeted the 'Tamannaftogaz' oil terminal. Notably, these Ukrainian drones traveled over 1,700 kilometers to reach this strategic Russian asset, demonstrating a significant extension of their operational reach.

These actions signal an intensification of Ukrainian efforts to inflict maximum damage on enemy command, control, and logistical networks. The ability to strike such a diverse set of targets deep inside Russian-held territory marks a shift in the conflict's dynamics. The growing effectiveness of Ukrainian drone technology, particularly its long-range strike capability, could substantially impact Russian operational planning, as UAVs play a pivotal role in modern warfare.
