Ukrainian Action Summit has opened in Washington.
The Sixth Ukrainian Action Summit is taking place in Washington, organized by the American Coalition for Ukraine. The purpose of the summit is to inform lawmakers and ordinary Americans about the need to support Ukraine.
President of United Help Ukraine, Marina Baiduk, reported that 600 delegates from all 50 states of America attended the summit. This is a huge achievement as it covers the entire country.
Over three days, delegates will advocate for Ukraine, meeting with congressmen and senators at the Capitol. They will talk about the necessity of continuing assistance to Ukraine, which is defending itself against the aggression of the Russian Federation and shares common values with America. Also scheduled are speeches from community activists and a screening of documentary films about events in Ukraine.
Importantly, the coalition includes American organizations specializing in human rights and humanitarian aid. They understand the situation in Ukraine and recognize that the country is becoming a symbol of the defense of democracy and the freedom of the free world.
