Accident involving a train in Poland: the minibus driver hospitalized.
According to inkorr.com: Near the Medyka Roządów railway station, a Ukrainian minibus was involved in an accident with a train. The Mercedes Sprinter minibus entered the tracks at the moment the train was moving towards Przemyśl. As a result of the collision, only the driver was injured and was taken to the hospital.
Police and rescuers worked at the scene. All circumstances of the accident are currently being clarified.
Closure of the border with Belarus
Poland has closed its border with Belarus due to the conduct of Russian-Belarusian military exercises 'West-2025'. The movement of road and rail transport has been suspended in both directions. Poland intends to reopen the border very soon, but only under the condition of ensuring the safety of citizens.
As a result of the installation of barbed wire and barricades at the border, buses have been left on the bridge between the countries. Poland has deployed about 40,000 military personnel in the east of the country following drone incursions, which has further exacerbated the situation.
Thus, the Ukrainian minibus collided with a train at the Polish-Ukrainian border. Against the backdrop of military exercises, the closure of the border with Belarus has led to heightened tensions in the region and delays for buses on the bridge between the countries.
