December 10 in Ukraine: from wet snow in the east to +12 degrees in the west.
According to ТСН: Tomorrow, significant changes in the weather are expected in Ukraine: from wet snow in the east to almost spring-like warmth in the west. Meteorologists warn of an unusual weather situation with pressure and temperature fluctuations, but assure that everything is within seasonal norms.
Wet snow is predicted in the eastern regions, particularly in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk.
“Rain will pass on Wednesday in the south, in most central and western regions, in Zhytomyr and Kyiv,” said Didenko.
Temperatures across the country will vary greatly: in the west, temperatures are expected to reach +7…+12 degrees, while in the east, Poltava, in Dnipro and in Zaporizhzhia, it will be the coldest — 0…+3 degrees during the day.
“In the rest of Ukraine +4…+7 degrees. In Kyiv, rain will begin today, intensifying in the evening, and tomorrow afternoon it will subside a little — in some places, light rain. The air temperature in the capital on December 10 is +5…+7 degrees,” said the forecaster.
She also added that after this unstable Wednesday, from December 13 to 15, a slight cooling is expected.
“The weather situation is unruly, with pressure and temperature fluctuations, but within the legitimate seasonal limits,” summarized Nataliia Didenko.
It should be noted that the abnormally warm December in Ukraine is due to the influx of warm air masses from the south and global climate changes over the past few decades.
Earlier, we reported that the head of the department of applied meteorology and climatology of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute Vira Balabukh impressed with her winter forecast.
These weather fluctuations on the way to winter are caused by complex atmospheric processes, as well as current changes in climatic conditions. This can be observed not only in Ukraine but also in many other regions of the world, where weather anomalies are becoming more frequent. Therefore, it is important to follow forecasts and prepare accordingly for the winter season.
