According to meteorologist Nataliya Didenko, the cold weather will not let go of the Ukrainian state at least until the end of next week. In the coming days, periodic rains are expected, so citizens should be prepared for cool and damp weather.

It is forecasted that starting from May 20, weather conditions will change significantly and warming will be noticeable. However, until that time, meteorologists predict frosts at night, particularly in Kyiv and the region on the night of May 12.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the ground surface temperature may drop to 0-3 degrees at night, which will lead to the issuance of a yellow level of danger by meteorologists. This could result in complications in the operation of enterprises and transport, as well as have a negative impact on the environment.

«The bad weather is not holding back: snow has fallen in the Carpathians at altitudes, and Moscow has been hit by the highest amount of precipitation in the last 116 years,» the meteorologist added.
