The Ministry of Defense has approved new fiber-optic FPV drones: what are their advantages.

According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has decided to use three fiber-optic FPV complexes developed by Ukrainian companies. This was reported by Herman Smetanin, the general director of Ukrainian Defense Industry.

'Three fiber-optic FPV complexes produced by the enterprises of JSC 'Ukroboronprom' have successfully passed codification and interdepartmental testing with the National Guard of Ukraine,' he emphasized.

Advantages of New Technologies

According to Smetanin, these drones, made of fiber optics, are capable of effectively covering long distances and have low sensitivity to radio interference. This significantly increases their effectiveness in military operations.

It is worth noting that the enterprises of JSC 'Ukrainian Defense Industry' are actively implementing modern technologies in the field of armaments and aim to develop and scale effective solutions.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to use these FPV complexes to enhance the effectiveness of its military operations due to their unique characteristics.
