Ukrzaliznytsia reported how many Ukrainians will meet the New Year on the train.

More than 9 thousand passengers will be able to meet the year 2025 on 'Ukrzaliznytsia' trains, the company's press service reported.

In the New Year's Eve, thousands of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' workers will ensure the operation of infrastructure and the running of 108 trains.

Railway workers will be on duty at crossings, inspect cars, manage traffic, operate locomotives, and take care of the peace and comfort of passengers on trains and in stations.

We remind you that the number of trains in Ukraine will increase before the Christmas and New Year holidays. Tickets can be purchased through the mobile app, on the website, or at ticket offices.

'Ukrzaliznytsia' also assigned an additional train for the Christmas holidays. From December 18 to January 12, train № 201/202 will run on the route Kharkiv - Vorokhta - Kharkiv. It will complement the schedule of train № 1/2 with the same connection, which currently operates every other day.

In addition, the company has launched a test menu with full meals on some trains. Passengers will now be able to choose hot dishes for themselves.
