The Ukrainian railway announced that there will be additional trains ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays. This decision was made to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for passengers to their loved ones.

The following additional trains have been identified:

• Train No. 159/160 Kyiv - Truskavets;
• Train No. 291/292 Kyiv - Lviv;
• Train No. 168/167 Odesa - Lviv;
• Train No. 265/266 Kyiv - Odesa;
• Train No. 249/250 Kyiv - Chernivtsi;
• Train No. 235/236 Kyiv - Uzhhorod.

Tickets can be purchased through the mobile app, on the website, or at ticket offices.

In addition, from December 18 to January 12, an additional train No. 201/202 will operate on the route Kharkiv - Vorokhta - Kharkiv, which will complement the schedule of the existing train No. 1/2 with the same direction.

Moreover, Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced a new schedule for 2025, which will come into effect on December 15. It includes the launch of new routes, optimization of routes, and reduction of travel time on many directions.
