Ukrzaliznytsia has resumed the operation of the ticket sales system.
Ukrzaliznytsia has suspended the sale of all tickets – both at the ticket offices and online. This is reported by the press service of the Joint Stock Company Ukrzaliznytsia on Facebook.
In Ukrzaliznytsia, they apologized for the fact that the ticket sales systems (at the ticket offices and online) of UZ will be temporarily unavailable from 12:00 on Tuesday, October 22.
It is clarified that such a situation arose for technical reasons.
We urgently need to reconfigure something. The best specialists have already applied railway magic, so soon everything will work, Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.
It is noted that trains continue to run on schedule, and the system will be restored within the next 30 minutes.
At 12:50, Ukrzaliznytsia announced the resumption of the ticket sales system
We are working in normal mode. Trains traditionally run on schedule, tickets are again available for purchase in the Ukrzaliznytsia app, in chatbots, on the website, and at station ticket offices, the message says.
Let's recall that from mid-December, the Polish state operator PKP Intercity will provide rolling stock for passenger communication between Warsaw and Rava-Ruska. PKP Intercity is considering the launch of a train consisting of four carriages with seats for first and second class. The transportation of passengers will be carried out by the train Kolomyia – Rava-Ruska.
By the way, on October 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, on the proposal of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia, appointed Oleksandr Pertsovsky as the chairman of the management board of the company for a three-year term. This was announced by Ukrzaliznytsia. Until the completion of the contract with Ukrzaliznytsia, Yevhen Liashchenko, who held the position of chairman of the management board from March 2023 to the present day, will continue to work as a member of the management board.
