Ukrzaliznytsia to Launch Direct Odesa-Rakhiv Train Service Starting February 3.
New Odesa to Rakhiv Rail Connection Announced
According to Novyny.live: In response to significant passenger demand, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railway operator, is introducing a new daily direct train service between Odesa and Rakhiv. The inaugural journey for train number 26/25 is scheduled for February 3, 2024, providing a convenient link between the Black Sea coast and the Carpathian Mountains. This route is a key addition to the country's long-distance network, connecting major urban centers with popular tourist destinations.
The first departure from Odesa is set for 18:38 on February 3, arriving in Rakhiv at 13:20 the following day. The return trip from Rakhiv will depart at 14:21 on February 4, reaching Odesa at 08:38. The train will make stops in several towns and cities along the way:

- Vapniarka
- Zhmerynka
- Khmelnytskyi
- Ternopil
- Lviv
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Yaremche
- Tatariv-Bukovel
- Vorokhta
- Yasinia
- Kvasy
Passengers can choose from a range of accommodations, including luxury sleeping cars, standard compartments, and open-plan carriages, with special women-only and family compartments also available. Tickets can be purchased through the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app, on its official website, or at station ticket offices. This service has also been integrated into the '3000 Kilometers Across Ukraine' promotional program. The launch is part of broader efforts to enhance national transport infrastructure and meet growing passenger needs.
