Ukrzaliznytsia Announces Schedule Adjustments
According to Novyny.live: Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railway operator, has revised the schedule for its long-distance train No. 21/22 between Kharkiv and Lviv, effective February 17. The changes are designed to enhance passenger convenience. The departure time from Kharkiv is now set for 19:26, a significant shift from the previous 14:27 departure, which will alter arrival times at all intermediate stations along the route. These adjustments are part of ongoing efforts to modernize Ukraine's rail network and improve connectivity between major cities.
- The train will now arrive in Vinnytsia at 05:40, instead of 00:54.
- Arrival in Khmelnytskyi is scheduled for 07:32, compared to the former time of 02:42.
- The arrival time in Ternopil has been moved to 09:14, replacing 04:35.
These new timings are intended to allow passengers to better plan their journeys.
Commuter Train Schedule Updates
Separately, Ukrzaliznytsia is also modifying schedules for commuter electric trains in the Kharkiv region. For instance, train No. 6430 from Izium to Kharkiv will now arrive at 17:21, while train No. 6023 from Slatyne to Kharkiv will arrive at 18:12. These revisions aim to provide more convenient travel options for local commuters.
The schedule for train No. 6383/6384 from Khmelnytskyi to Larga has also been updated. This service departs Khmelnytskyi at 08:05 and arrives in Kamianets-Podilskyi at 11:40. All these schedule corrections are implemented to deliver a more efficient and user-friendly transportation service.
The timetable revisions reflect Ukrzaliznytsia's commitment to improving service quality and adapting to evolving passenger requirements.
The new timeframes are intended not only to increase travel comfort but also to facilitate easier connections for passengers using multiple routes. Such optimizations are expected to positively influence the overall perception of rail travel in Ukraine.
