Starting in June, Ukrzaliznytsia Overhauls Train Schedules in Odesa Region with New Routes and Timings.
Suburban Train Operations Shift in Odesa Oblast
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian Railways has announced adjustments to suburban train services in the Odesa region, set to take effect in June. Notably, trains No. 78/77 (Kovel — Odesa) and No. 7/8 (Kharkiv — Odesa) will begin running daily. The revised suburban train schedule will go into force on June 4.
According to the update, train No. 6254 (Odesa-Holovna — Podilsk) will operate under new timings, departing at 10:27 and arriving at 14:27. Additionally, train No. 6256 (Odesa-Holovna — Vapniarka) will depart at 13:40 and arrive at 20:11, while train No. 6258 (Odesa-Holovna — Vapniarka) will leave at 17:49 and reach its destination at 00:46.
Train Operation Schedule
Further changes will apply from June 8 to June 11. During this period:
- Train No. 6254 will depart at 10:31;
- Train No. 6256 will run from 13:32 to 20:04;
- Train No. 6258 will maintain its schedule from 17:49 to 00:47.
Moreover, starting June 2, the M-15 highway (Odesa — Reni) will impose nighttime traffic restrictions from 20:00 to 06:00. These restrictions will be in place on June 2, 3, and 4. Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to stay informed about schedule changes and plan their trips accordingly.
These adjustments to suburban train services and the M-15 highway restrictions could impact many travelers' plans, especially during the summer season when demand for transportation typically rises. Ukrzaliznytsia is working to adapt the timetable to passenger needs by introducing daily service on certain routes, which may enhance travel convenience for both locals and tourists.
