Changes in reserving employees of mobile operators

The government approved changes to the procedure for reserving employees of mobile operators and internet providers. Now construction crews engaged in setting up networks resistant to power outages also fall under the reservation.

In order to ensure the reservation of construction crew workers, the enterprise must meet certain requirements: be included in the list of critically important enterprises engaged in setting up networks based on xPON technology, and have approved plans for the next year.

Mobile operators will now have the opportunity to reserve all construction crew workers who are deploying power-independent networks on highways and national roads.

The process of reserving construction crews will be carried out through the 'Diia' system, similar to the reservation of emergency recovery services. If the provider or operator fails to carry out the planned construction works, they will be excluded from the list, and the reservation of workers will be canceled.

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine also decided to improve the criteria for determining enterprises that are critically important to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Economy Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko stated that the government plans to extend the restrictions on replacing workers until March 31.
