According to inkorr.com: The government presented proposals to the National Security and Defense Council regarding the imposition of personal sanctions against Timur Mіndіch and Oleksandr Tsukerman. Both individuals are mentioned in NABU tapes related to corruption in the energy sector. They are part of a criminal organization that had influence over the operations of strategic enterprises.

Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko supported the initiative to dismiss Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko and Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk. Both ministers submitted resignation requests, which are currently being considered by the Verkhovna Rada. It is noteworthy that Halushchenko and Hrynchuk found themselves at the center of the NABU scandal but do not admit their guilt.

Arrest of participants in corruption scandals

The High Anti-Corruption Court made a decision to arrest the Executive Director of Security at 'Energoatom', Dmytro Basov, as well as the business partner of Herman Halushchenko and advisor to Svitlana Hrynchuk, Ihor Myroniuk. Additionally, sanctions were applied to employees of the company Lesia Ustymenko and Ihor Fursenko.

Support from Great Britain

Great Britain allocated 13 million pounds sterling for the restoration of energy infrastructure in Ukraine. These funds became necessary due to the threat expressed by Russian President Putin regarding the destruction of energy supply in Ukraine. Financial resources will be used for repair work and assistance to residents affected by water and heating outages.

Shelling in Kharkiv

Kharkiv was shelled by the Russian army, which carried out three drone strikes on one of the city's districts. As a result of these attacks, five people were injured, four of whom were hospitalized. Enterprises and residential buildings were also damaged. The situation in the region remains tense.

These events underscore the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine, particularly in the energy sector and the safety of the population. Demands on the government regarding the fight against corruption and infrastructure restoration are becoming increasingly relevant, given the threats from Russia and internal problems. Thus, support from international partners, such as Great Britain, is critically important for overcoming these challenges.
