The government has changed the list of strategic religious organizations: what does it mean.
According to inkorr.com: The State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience has updated the list of religious organizations that are considered critically important for the economy and the well-being of the population during a special period. The changes were approved by an order of the State Service.
The list includes those religious organizations that have successfully passed the verification according to the new criteria. These criteria came into force in March of this year.
The amendments to the list were made at the initiative of the Prime Minister, received after a meeting with representatives of churches and religious organizations.
The list specifies 9216 religious organizations that have strategic importance for the state in unforeseen situations. Their actions can help ensure stability in the country.
As of today, the list indicates nearly 7700 organizations that were recorded in June. This is an important step towards strengthening national security and resilience in difficult times. Cooperation with religious organizations can play a key role in countering the dangers and threats facing Ukraine.
The updated list of religious organizations demonstrates the state's desire to involve spiritual communities in addressing pressing social issues, especially in crisis conditions. Utilizing the resources of religious organizations to support social stability can become an important tool in times of challenges and uncertainty.
