Usyk raised the original saber of Hetman Mazepa over the ring (video).


Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk after his victory over British Tyson Fury showed the original saber of Hetman Ivan Mazepa, which he raised over the ring. The saber dates back to the 17th century.
A unique artifact with the inscription «I place all my hope in you, Mother of God, protect me under your cloak» Oleksandr Usyk showed to millions of viewers after the fight.
Oleksandr Usyk dedicated the victory to his mother Nadiya and all mothers of Ukraine.
It should be noted that in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) there was a boxing evening during which Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury and remained the world champion in heavyweight boxing according to the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO versions.
Ukrainian champion Andriy Novytsky also won in the rematch fight with Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. He is the WBC International champion in heavyweight.
Ukrainian boxer Serhiy Bohachuk also achieved victory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, over Ishmael Davis, winning the WBA Continental and IBF Continental titles in the super welterweight.
Usyk was forbidden to kiss the cross between the rounds of the rematch fight with Tyson.
