The body of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, who went missing in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, has been found. This was reported by the BBC.
«The intelligence and law enforcement agencies of the United Arab Emirates have discovered the body of Tzvi Kogan, who went missing on November 21. The Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi has been in contact with the rabbi's family since the beginning of the incident and continues to provide them support. The family of Tzvi in Israel has been notified», – reported the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
The office of the Prime Minister of Israel also stated that «the murder of Tzvi Kogan is a criminal anti-Semitic terrorist incident. The State of Israel will use all its efforts to bring to justice the criminals responsible for his death».
Rabbi Kogan, who is an assistant to the Chief Rabbi of the United Arab Emirates, Levi Yitzhak Dubman, went missing on Thursday, November 21.
The intelligence emphasized that the Israeli National Security Council recently issued a level 3 (moderate level) travel warning for the UAE and recommended that Israelis avoid non-essential travel and increase security measures while in the region.
