Israeli tourists brutally beaten in Amsterdam. Planes dispatched to the Netherlands.
In Amsterdam, a group of pro-Palestinian activists attacked Israeli citizens
In Amsterdam, a pro-Palestinian group of people attacked Israeli citizens who came to the match between the football clubs Ajax and Maccabi. This was reported by the Times of Israel.
It is noted that the attack on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans occurred on the night of November 8 on the streets of Amsterdam after the Israeli football team lost to the local club Ajax.
Videos from the scene of the incident are being published on social media, documenting violent attacks. Some of the attackers hid their faces with masks, carried Palestinian flags, and shouted "free Palestine".
It is claimed online that several abduction attempts were recorded. People were beaten, thrown into the river, hit by cars, and forced into hotels where they were staying.
According to unconfirmed reports, more than 30 Israeli residents were injured due to the riots. Two people went missing.
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has ordered two planes to be dispatched to Amsterdam for the evacuation of Israelis. He also called on Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schuf and local security forces to "act decisively and quickly against the rioters and ensure the wellbeing of our citizens".
Recall that the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas issued a demand to the United States in the wake of Donald Trump's victory in the presidential elections.
As reported, Hamas militants did not agree to a short-term ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of four hostages. Such a proposal for the Palestinian organization and Israel was previously voiced by Egypt.
Notably, the Israeli army announced the elimination of the last member of the Hamas political bureau, Izz ad-Din Kassaba.
