In an unfinished high-rise building in Odessa, a man fell from the height of the 21st floor and died. The police are establishing the identity of the deceased and the circumstances of the incident, the body will be sent for examination. This was reported by the General Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region.
The incident occurred on August 1, as a result of the injuries received, the man died.
At the scene of the tragedy, a forensic team of the Odessa District Police Department No. 1 is working. The identity of the deceased is being established and his body will be sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.
After uncovering all the circumstances of the incident, a legal qualification will be provided.
Recall, in Kiev at a construction site, a man fell from the 19th floor into the air duct shaft on the 18th floor and died on the spot. The incident occurred at the construction site on Baltiysky Lane in the Obolonsky district of Kiev. As a result of the investigation, two officials were notified of suspicion. This is the deputy director of the company and the foreman, who are directly responsible for compliance with occupational safety requirements at the enterprise according to their job responsibilities. The incident is classified as "violation of safety rules during the performance of high-risk work at the enterprise, by a person who is obligated to comply with them, which led to the death of a person" (part 2 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Also, at the construction site of a residential complex in Kiev, a 20-year-old boy died.
