Ukraine is preparing to implement a new program for military training for youth and students. Instead of the classic basic military training (BMT), a new program 'Foundations of National Resistance' will be introduced, which aims to prepare citizens for national resistance and increase combat readiness. It will cover all citizens from school age and above, providing practical skills in weapon handling, tactics, and fire training. After completing their studies at educational institutions, students will be required to undergo basic military service, which will become a mandatory part of the overall training system. It is also planned to create special training centers for reservists, students, and those willing to enhance their combat readiness and learn how to handle weapons.
