In Ukraine, veterans will receive funds from the state for gyms and swimming pools.
Ukrainian veterans will receive quarterly assistance for sports activities, reports Deputy Minister for European Integration Ruslana Velychko-Tryfonyuk.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs is launching an experimental project that allows veterans to use funds for visiting gyms and swimming pools.
We have made changes to Ukraine's law on physical culture and sports, which are currently undergoing committees in the Verkhovna Rada. We are also working on an experimental project so that our veterans receive quarterly assistance that can be directed towards visiting various gyms, - said the Deputy Minister.
We remind you that servicemen can obtain disability status as a result of the war through Diia.
In addition, a new veteran certificate is now available in Diia. Changes to the legislation allowing only a digital veteran certificate in Diia have been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Ministry of Education and Science has launched a platform for finding educational opportunities for veterans, where courses and complete educational programs are presented.
