Singer VARASH's Family Home Destroyed in Missile Strike, Relatives Hospitalized.
VARASH's Family Home Obliterated in Kyiv Region Attack
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian singer Volodymyr Zabolodiazhnyi, known professionally as VARASH, has reported that his family home was completely destroyed by a Russian missile strike on the Kyiv region during the night of February 22. The attack, part of a wider assault on civilian areas, highlights the ongoing dangers faced by Ukrainian families. At the time of the strike, the singer's sister was in the house with her children. Her infant child is now in intensive care, and her son has undergone surgery. VARASH's sister and her two children are currently being treated at the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital in Kyiv.
The singer shared details of the tragedy, stating:
"An enemy Russian missile hit my family's house. Our home is completely destroyed." - VARASH
He added that the most important thing is that everyone survived, though all have been hospitalized. VARASH also noted that the coming day would be extremely difficult, saying: 'We are holding on, the day will be very hard.'
Widespread Damage in the Region
The same bombardment caused serious damage to the home of television presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk, underscoring the scale of destruction in the area. The situation remains tense, with the consequences of the attack continuing to impact the lives of the victims.
