Great Deal: Trump to Meet Putin, Goals Revealed in the US.

US President Donald Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin plan to meet in 2025 to finalize the war on their terms. However, the chances of reaching a peace deal are very slim, reports The Washington Post.
Putin seeks a 'great deal' that would maintain Russia's influence over Ukraine, weaken NATO's positions, and strengthen the Kremlin's standing. However, the likelihood of signing such an agreement decreases due to Putin's maximalist approach and Trump's strategy of avoiding appearing weak.
According to high-level sources, Moscow is not ready for compromises due to the ongoing aggression of Russian occupiers in eastern Ukraine and the lack of signs of economic decline in Russia.
However, the Kremlin may be willing to make some concessions regarding territorial claims on Ukraine, but only in exchange for significant decisions regarding European security.
A hypothetical meeting between Trump and Putin could lead to a division of the world into spheres of influence, creating a threat to Ukraine and Georgia, limiting NATO's activities, and jeopardizing European security.
Some experts believe that Trump could fall into the trap of such a deal, but this is not supported by Europeans and Ukrainians.
