According to UATV: The United Kingdom has committed £3.16 million—roughly €3.7 million—to develop cost-effective systems capable of intercepting drones. This investment falls under the Low-Cost Air Defence (LEAP) program, designed to bolster the nation’s air defense capabilities. London is the first of five European nations to sign contracts as part of this initiative, marking a key step in regional defense collaboration.

Germany, France, Italy, and Poland have also signed onto the LEAP program.
