The government has approved changes in the granting of subsidies to combat veterans, persons with war-related disabilities, and their families. Now entrepreneurs who regularly pay taxes will receive an additional grant payment. These measures will contribute to improving the conditions for establishing and developing their own businesses.
According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, over 500 million UAH in grant funds for business development have been received by 1,100 veterans and their families. In total, more than 22,000 microgrants have been allocated, which may contribute to the creation of 42,000 new jobs.
Furthermore, the government is also improving the provision of psychological assistance to veterans. The composition of multidisciplinary medical teams has been expanded and the maximum amount of funds that the state compensates for non-governmental institutions providing treatment for veterans has been increased.
