Reconstruction of 'Okhmatdyt': Ministry of Health approved the first members of the Restoration Council.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has approved the first eight members of the Council for the restoration of NSDL 'Okhmatdyt'. The selection of seven more representatives of public associations and charitable organizations to the Council is ongoing. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

«These are representatives from donors who made the largest donations, international technical assistance projects, diplomatic missions of foreign states in Ukraine, international and intergovernmental organizations and funds, as well as one representative each from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and NSDL 'Okhmatdyt'», – the statement said.  

The Council includes:

Jaco Cillier, Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine.

Igor Katsitadze, Health Specialist of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine. 

Donatas Butkus, Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of PJSC 'National Power Company Ukrenergo'

Nazar Kupybida, Member of the Board of Directors, Vice President for Finance of JSC 'Concern GalNaftogaz'

Yuliia Vysotska, Director of PJSC 'Scientific-Production Association 'Practika'.

Yevhen Honchar, Head of the Department for Policy Formation in the Field of Medical Guarantees and Medical Services of the Department of Medical Services of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Olena Laryina, Leading Specialist of Internal Control NSDL 'Okhmatdyt' Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The selection of seven representatives of public associations, their unions, charitable organizations that are active in the fields of anti-corruption, patient rights protection, health care development, professional associations of health care workers or in the field of architecture and urban planning, who will be included in the personal composition of the Council for the reconstruction of 'Okhmatdyt', is also ongoing.

The selection will be carried out by ranking voting of the already approved members of the Council based on the results of the consideration of submitted applications for participation. 

Recall that Minister of Health Viktor Liashko said that a special Control Council will now monitor the process of restoring the children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt' in Kyiv, which was destroyed by Russian missiles. 

Earlier, Liashko said that the tender for the reconstruction of the children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt', which was attacked by the occupants with missiles, will be canceled. Instead, it will be held again.
