Tomorrow, September 13, it is forecasted that there will be no restrictions on the use of electricity. This was reported by the press service of 'Ukrenergo'. 'The need for economical use of electricity still remains. Please do not use powerful electrical appliances during peak consumption hours: from 6:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 22:00,' the message said. Today, the schedules of power outages will be in effect from 13:00 to 23:00 in 16 regions of Ukraine. Currently, it is impossible to predict how exactly Ukrainians will face the winter heating season. The state is preparing for winter and possible attacks from Russia, protecting energy facilities with the help of the first and second levels of protection. According to the data, from September 9, due to the cancellation of hourly outage schedules in Ukraine, electricity consumption is increasing. Also, the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development has started the construction of the third level of passive protection at the substations of NEC 'Ukrenergo', but international partners express doubts about the necessity of financing such an expensive project before testing this technology. In addition, the European Commission is working to increase the maximum volume of electricity supply to Ukraine. It should be noted that the former head of 'Ukrenergo', Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, reported that Ukraine's energy facilities would have three levels of protection in the form of engineering fortifications in case of Russian attacks.
