Power Outage: 'Ukrenergo' Changed Schedules Again (Updated).
According to the message from «Ukrenergo», today, August 19, from 18:00 to 21:30, planned power outages will be conducted.
«In case of a change in the situation, measures of restriction will be additionally reported», – stated in the message.
Fortunately, the consumption of critical infrastructure and defense industry facilities will not be restricted.
The start of the outage schedule has been changed as directed by «Ukrenergo». Now the outages will start at 17:30 and last until 21:30. One round of power outages will be conducted.
Information about the power outage schedule for your region is available on the websites of Oblenergo and DTEK.
We remind you that starting from August 19, blackout schedules return in Ukraine due to heat. Evening hours will be used for one round of outages.
By October, DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of the lost generation capacity, which it lost due to massive shelling by Russia in the spring of this year.
Earlier, «Ukrenergo» forecasted a decrease in power outages in August-October. In the absence of new large-scale shelling, the head of «Ukrenergo» Volodymyr Kudrytskyi noted that the power deficit in Ukraine's power system will gradually decrease during August, September, and October.
