The famous airline launched free Starlink on flights.
The airline Qatar Airways has launched Starlink on 54 wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft. Passengers will now be able to enjoy free high-speed internet during the flight. This was reported by avianews.com.
It is reported that the internet speed on board the aircraft reaches up to 500 Mbps. Passengers will be able to seamlessly play online games, watch movies, streams, and send photos and videos to family and friends not only during the flight but also during takeoff and landing. The company allocated 2 years for the aircraft modernization, however, the engineers completed it in 9 months. Such a quick turnaround allowed Qatar Airways to avoid postponing flights and losing profits. The company currently plans to launch high-speed internet on another 60 Airbus A350 aircraft.
