Famous Ukrainian writer and military man involved in a car accident.
Writer and participant in the Russo-Ukrainian war Serhiy Leshchenko (known as 'Saigon') was the victim of a serious traffic accident. The accident occurred on November 21, resulting in Leshchenko sustaining serious injuries. He reported that he remains conscious but has fractures and cannot eat or drink. Leshchenko stated that he would be stabilized and transported to Kyiv for further treatment. He also posted a photo of the severely damaged car.
After the publication, the community of supporters and friends of Leshchenko expressed their wishes for a speedy recovery.
Biography of Serhiy Leshchenko
Serhiy Leshchenko, known as 'Saigon', was born in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2015 to 2016 and participated in combat actions in the ATO zone. After being discharged from the military in 2016, Leshchenko began writing memoirs that were published in 2018 and 2020. He won the BBC-2020 Publishers Forum. Currently, Leshchenko is a serviceman.
It should be reminded that Kyiv City Council member Serhiy Mamoian died in a traffic accident on November 3. Also, on November 12, Archimandrite Artemii Patskan, the rector of the Pokrovsky Monastery of the Khust Diocese of the Moscow Church in Ukraine, died in an accident.
