Sergei Anatolyevich Leshchenko - Ukrainian politician, Member of the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation, journalist, deputy editor-in-chief - special correspondent of the Internet portal Ukrainska Pravda (2002-2014). Member of the Supervisory Board of the state joint-stock company 'Ukrzaliznytsia'. Since February 2, 2022, he has been the deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board of the state joint-stock company 'Ukrzaliznytsia').
Place of birth. Education. Born in Kyiv. In 2003, he graduated from the Institute of Journalism of the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv.
In 2012, he completed an internship in the United Kingdom as part of the scholarship program of the John Smith Memorial Trust.
In 2013, he completed an internship at Stanford University (USA) as part of the Hills Summer Fellowship and in Washington as part of the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship.
Career. In 2000, he started working as a journalist in the news program Reporter at the New Channel and worked with the editorial office of the regional news of the channel until spring 2001.
At the same time, he became a correspondent for the Internet portal Ukrainka Pravda in September 2000.
From 2002 to 2014, he served as deputy editor-in-chief - special correspondent of the Ukrainian Truth. He became known for journalistic investigations he conducted, partly together with Mustafa Nayem.
