Leschenko and Podolyak remain at the Office: became advisors to the President's Office.
According to ТСН: Former non-staff advisors to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Serhiy Leschenko and Mykhailo Podolyak, have received new positions as advisors and continue to work at the Office.
Leschenko announced this during his speech at the telethon.
Changes in the President's Office
The recent change in positions at the Office took place a few weeks ago, but no significant changes in the work of the Office have been observed so far. Leschenko noted:
“When the leadership changes — the head of the Office has left, his advisors have left. Now there is no head of the Office, and I and Mykhailo Podolyak have been reappointed as advisors to the President's Office. This decision has been made for more than a week, so there is no news.”
He also reminded of President Volodymyr Zelensky's words that currently his attention is focused on the negotiation process for peace, and personnel appointments are not a priority. Leschenko continued:
“Accordingly, for now, the Office functions in the form it has been functioning for the last few weeks. Nothing has changed. The deputies of the head of the Office, responsible for each area, staff positions – because both I and Mykhailo Podolyak are non-staff advisors – and the deputies and the verticals below them are working as they have been. No significant changes have occurred in the Office’s work.”
It should be noted that earlier, information sources reported that with the resignation of Yermak, all his staff and non-staff assistants were dismissed from their positions. In particular, there were talks about possible dismissal of Leschenko.
Thus, the situation in the President's Office remains stable, with assurances regarding continuity of work despite personnel changes. Leschenko and Podolyak, leaving important positions, will continue to fulfill their duties in a new status, emphasizing the continuity of the office's work during a difficult time.
