In Odesa, housing prices have skyrocketed: how much does a vacation by the sea cost in summer.
Vacationing in the Southern Palmyra has always been quite an expensive pleasure. Before the war, it was well known that 'if you can't afford Odesa — go to Turkey.' However, due to constant attacks from Russia, the situation has changed. Journalists from Novyn.LIVE spoke with tourists to determine how expensive it is to vacation in Odesa this summer.
“The most expensive item is finding accommodation. It’s really very expensive in Odesa, especially during the season,” shares his impressions Maksym.
Despite the rising prices, it is still possible to vacation on a budget. The main thing is to find affordable accommodation with a kitchen so you can cook your meals. This allows you to save money and make your vacation comfortable even on a limited budget.
“We chose a budget vacation option with the family, staying in Sanjiika. The most expensive things are accommodation and groceries. We cook our own meals or buy them from stores,”
Currently, it is expensive to vacation in Odesa due to the rise in housing and food prices. However, by finding a budget accommodation option with a kitchen, significant savings can be made, and the vacation can be made comfortable.
