Resting in elite hotels. Polish minister outraged by the behavior of boys from Ukraine.
In Polish society, outrage is beginning over the behavior of some Ukrainian refugees. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in an interview with Interia.
According to him, the Poles are being unfair by helping Ukraine, while some Ukrainian men of military age are hiding in Poland.
«Our society is very outraged that young guys from Ukraine drive the best cars and spend weekends in luxurious hotels. This is unfair to Poles, who contribute to healthcare, education, arms provision, and other assistance,» emphasized Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The minister also commented on the proposal by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wladyslaw Sikorski, to deprive Ukrainian men of conscription age in Poland of social benefits. In his opinion, this could cause Ukrainians to return to Ukraine, but such a decision should be applied not only in Poland.
«If Poland made such a decision, Ukrainians would go to Germany or Italy. Therefore, the decision that Minister Sikorski is talking about should have a pan-European character,» noted Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The minister also noted that Poland has trained 25,000 Ukrainian soldiers and wishes to expand training for volunteers from Ukraine residing in Poland.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, expressed his outrage that a young Ukrainian man is working as a hairdresser in Warsaw instead of defending his country.
There is also information about possible training of Ukrainian military personnel on Polish territory. Negotiations are currently underway to create a Ukrainian legion.
