Today, October 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held meetings with the Prime Ministers of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, Sweden Ulf Kristersson, and Finland Petteri Orpo in Reykjavik. This is reported by the Office of the President.

«The focus is on continuing support for Ukraine, in particular the key needs in the defense sector, financing Ukrainian production, strengthening Ukrainian air defense, and our long-range capabilities. Also, the implementation of victory plan points and preparation for the second Peace Summit,» the president noted.

Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Ukraine's partners for their support.

The Rada dismissed Kostin from the Prosecutor General's position

The Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin. 255 deputies voted for the resignation of the Prosecutor General. This was reported by MP of the «Holos» faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Before his resignation, Kostin came to the Verkhovna Rada with a report on the work done during his tenure.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence also earlier supported the relevant submission from the president. According to MP of the «Holos» faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, 14 out of 19 committee members voted «for».

A multimillion-dollar scheme of earnings on dodgers exposed in Odesa regional MSEC

The State Bureau of Investigation exposed an organized group of doctors who helped healthy men of conscription age obtain medical documents, allowing the MSEC to declare them unfit for service.

In spring 2024, a doctor from the Odesa regional clinical hospital began providing «paid services» to men trying to avoid mobilization. He involved 12 doctors from various city institutions, officials of the «Odesa Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise», and their relatives, who acted as intermediaries, into his illegal scheme.

Doctors fabricated diagnoses for healthy men and produced the necessary medical documentation to support the «medical history», even making «MRI» scans. Subsequently, conscripted men, with a package of ready documents, went to the MSEC, where they were met by «prepared» commission members to formalize disability group.

On the evening of October 29, Georgian students marched in protest to the parliament building in Tbilisi. They are against the election results of October 26.

At the rally, students came with flags of Georgia and the EU. In their hands are posters with messages emphasizing that Georgian youth choose Europe, not Russia.

Students told journalists that the party «Georgian Dream» is taking away their freedom, democracy, and right to vote.
