Major traffic jams at the border with Moldova: where the longest queue is and how to bypass it.
Today, August 13th, several traffic jams have formed at the border crossing towards Moldova on the Odesa-Reni route, the largest of which is at Palanka. There are also traffic jams on the way to Romania, although significantly fewer.
This information was provided to Novyny.LIVE from the Google Maps mapping web service.
Traffic jams towards Moldova
At the 'Palanka — Mayaki — Udobne' border crossing, there is currently a large queue of cars. Traffic jams are also observed on the approach to it, most of which are near the village of Mayaki. Travelers should keep this in mind when planning their routes. As for the 'Staro-Kozatske — Tudora' crossing, passage there is currently free. According to data from the mapping service, there are no traffic jams at the Reni border crossing.
Traffic jams towards Romania
Near the nearest ferry crossing to Romania 'Orlivka — Isakcha', there are currently no traffic jams. No traffic jams have been recorded in the area of the Kofa canal. However, there is a queue of cars near the border village of Broska, so it is better to bypass it. The trip from Odesa will take at least 4 hours.
We remind you that recently we wrote about new requirements for tourists traveling to Moldova by car. And also about the documents that need to be taken to Romania, besides the foreign passport.
