Military expert assessed new types of weapons of the Ukrainian defense industry.
Ukraine is actively engaged in the development of new types of weapons, such as drones and missile programs. According to Denis Popovich, Ukrainian developments have reached a very high level.
Particularly effective are the naval drones, the self-propelled artillery system 'Bohdana', and the multiple launch rocket system 'Vil'kha'.
The military analyst noted that Ukrainian drones have already struck targets in the territory of the Russian Federation at various distances.
First and foremost, it is worth noting the drones that strike at strategic depth and naval drones that have been successfully used to knock the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation out of Crimea. With the use of these drones, we managed to almost completely paralyze its functionality
It is known that the Russian Black Sea Fleet often uses 'Kalibr' missiles to strike the territory of Ukraine.
Popovich also noted that FPV drones are being developed in Ukraine, which are widely used at the front.
FPV drones are an integral part of combat and help to identify enemy targets and guide artillery. Often they replace artillery
Ukraine is also developing its own missile program and testing four types of missiles. It is also important to develop electronic warfare systems to protect against drones and important objects.
One of the most successful Ukrainian developments is 'Vil'kha' - guided missiles launched from the MLRS 'Smerch' platforms. The self-propelled artillery system 'Bohdana' is also used very effectively. We are also mastering the production of 155 mm shells to be prepared for any challenges of war
