Military man from Odessa sentenced to disciplinary battalion: what punishment the court imposed.
Police during the search found methadone tablets with a military man from Odessa. A case was opened against him, and the Kyiv District Court sentenced him to 1 year in a disciplinary battalion.

Details of the case
The military man from Odessa was stopped by police officers on Krasnov Street. During the search, law enforcement found a blister with two methadone tablets containing a quantity of 0.044. The circulation of this narcotic drug is restricted. For this, a criminal case was opened against the serviceman.
What the court decided
The defendant was found guilty under Article 2, Section 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal possession of narcotic substances). However, the punishment of one year of imprisonment was replaced with one year and one month in a disciplinary battalion.
