The charges against the serviceman concerned the unauthorized abandonment of his position as a shooter in the military unit. According to the case, on March 11, 2025, he left service after coming home to get his passport documents and heard advice from his mother.
After spending two and a half months away, he voluntarily appeared at the investigatory department of the State Bureau of Investigations in Ivano-Frankivsk and admitted his guilt during the court session.
Court's Decision
The city court in Ivano-Frankivsk decided to punish the serviceman with five years of imprisonment.
