He was apprehended while handing over the first part of the payment. The court found the soldier guilty of offering and providing a bribe, as well as attempting to evade service. In a separate case in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an organized group led by a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer was uncovered for helping soldiers avoid service; three members of this group face up to 12 years in prison. Additionally, in Poltava, a resident received a sentence of over seven years for unauthorized abandonment of his military unit. These prosecutions are part of a broader crackdown as Ukraine enforces strict military discipline during the ongoing conflict.
